I am a friend or relative of a electric current/past resident
Many people lived up at Dallas Retirement Village. Information technology is very big and growing. The staff is bully, and the care that they received accept had nothing but good reviews. My mother had been in the care facility office of it, and she had nothing but skillful reviews of the place. I personally know some of the staff. Before Covid hitting, they do wonderful outreach with the ladies there. And for the guys, they take a wood store at that place which is a benefit. They have tea parties and exercise. It is a customs within itself. I have senior friends in all the levels.

We had a very overnice visit at Dallas Retirement Village. It was very good and I would highly recommend information technology. The i-bedroom apartments are clean, very lovely, fix nicely, and have dainty kitchenettes. It's a lovely and beautiful facility. Nosotros looked at a brand-new condominium that was a 2-bedchamber unit, complete with a complete kitchen and a washer and dryer. The food is lovely and wonderful as well.

Dallas Retirement is a nice community offer unlike levels of intendance, simply they have stairs, and I don't desire my dad using stairs or elevators.

We visited Dallas Retirement, and my mother is on the waiting list. I have had friends that have had family in in that location. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the residents seemed very pleased with it. We got a good vibe. The apartments were clean, uncomplicated, and functional. She uses a walker, and it was easy for her to get around. The dining room was restaurant similar. They practice accept accommodations for a party or for family dinners. There's something everyday. They accept cards, prayer services, bingo, dominos, and scheduled outings once a week to different places in the customs and the surrounding area. One matter that impressed united states of america was the people that piece of work there don't take a big turnover. They work there for a long time, which tells you that it's not a place where they burn people out and send them on their way. They have on-site security 24 hours a day.

Nosotros were invited for a presentation of the new units at Dallas Retirement and it was very nice, just a petty expensive. The nice feature is they have all levels of care and the nutrient is fine. They take activities and the facility is make clean and well-maintained. Information technology is an attractive facility. We were satisfied with what we saw but we can't afford information technology.

My married woman and I accept had to assistance my aunt find an banana living/retirement community to motion to since she no longer can take intendance of herself completely. It has been a difficult thing to do because there are and so many to choose from and also considering of family unit difficulties and pressures. We went to the Dallas (Oregon) Retirement Village with my aunt about a month ago. A friend who also had a relative in that location had told the states it wasn't a bad place but on the day we visited it did not impress the states. My aunt is a sweet, friendly former lady and several people there, both staff and residents, that nosotros met all seemed to be very unhappy. We don't know what their personal circumstances were, of form, but at least the staff could have put on a happy confront for a potential client. 1 of the staff was specially rude and brusque, making us feel like we were intruding by asking questions about the place. It looked nice and the facilities seemed okay, simply it was not a happy, friendly place. We did not over-stay our questionable welcome and left after merely 20 minutes.

This past February we relocated during the pandemic from Milwaukie, Oregon, to Dallas, Oregon, which is about 15 miles westward of the capitol, Salem. The move itself was fairly uneventful; however, the transition from one senior living facility to some other was dramatic. Our social knowledge / recognition pigeon from 200 people downward to almost 4. Meeting other residents was further hampered by the requirements of wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. Those fabricated it difficult when all that you could meet was their eyes. Fortunately, the staff had programs to continue us occupied with twenty-four hour period trips into the countryside, physical practise classes, bingo, line dancing classes, movies, the woodshop, and contrasted arts and crafts projects. Coming from a highly regarded retirement customs and having researched the residential market for six months, we had grand expectations for this adventure. We even assembled a spreadsheet to make sure we did non miss anything important to us. We finally chose a Garden Home in the Dallas Retirement Village (DRV) with 2 bedrooms and two baths that has ample storage and a large single-automobile garage with boosted storage. The food at our new home is adept. Portions are large, and the pricing is reasonable. This is an issue that you need to check out very carefully if you are planning to motility to this type of living accommodation. Yous should look at several weeks' worth (months would be ameliorate) of menus. This will exist your diet for the next few years, and then pay attention hither. Nigh residents take favorites, and every dinner has a special, so there is a diverseness of food to choose from. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make accommodations for individual preferences. You get housekeeping services twice a month, and your yard is maintained for yous. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and tin can always be reached past telephone. There is a garden plot where you can get your hands dirty if that is of interest, and pets are welcome. The city of Dallas has approximately 15,000 residents and is the county seat for Polk County. There are several walking trails and parks nearby. DRV has ii libraries of its own, and the Dallas Library is a long walk or a brusk drive abroad. Nosotros are still exploring the eating place scene, but we are only about 30 minutes away from some groovy food in Salem.

Nosotros toured Dallas Retirement Village for my husband, and it'south a beautiful facility. I did not go a bout of the skilled intendance or assisted living, so we're only talking almost the contained living and their new lodge. They're finishing some new units, and they're beautiful. Everything we've heard from people who live there are positive experiences. I've met some of the residents that were out and about. They all have expert things to say. The staff is very all-around, very gracious, and we felt very welcome. They have various sized units. They have 1 and 2-bedroom units (and I'm non sure what they call them in the lodge) that they call condos. The units were i-bedroom, 2-bedrooms, or a bedchamber and a den. They accept smaller apartments for people who need subsidized facilities. They also have individual cottages on the campus. They accept all kinds of activities. The most recent addition is in progress, but they will have a small swimming pool. They have a gym. They have sundry activities, crafts, a weight room, and a library.
